Temporary State Fair Workers

The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is now accepting applications for temporary State Fair Workers assigned to use equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, floor scrubbers, tractors, skid steers, back hoes and street sweepers.

The rate is $12.58 per hour. These positions are located on the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, New York.

Parking & Events Crew Workers

Parking and Events Crew: $8.00 per hour. Work hours and days vary, the positions are on call and used as needed for events held on State Fairgrounds on a year-round basis. For Parking, the duties include: directing traffic to parking areas, setting up cones/signs. For Events, the duties include: janitorial work, building maintenance, customer service.
