City of Syracuse
The City of Syracuse is a nexus for the movement
of goods and people along the major transportation
routes in the Northeast. Located in the center
of New York, inside the County of Onondaga, the City of Syracuse is
the region's major metropolitan center. It has been appropriately called
the Crossroads of New York State, due to its central location.

Located in the center of New York State, Onondaga
County is home to the city of Syracuse. Onondaga
County is within 350 miles of all major cities
in the Northeast and conveniently situated at the intersection of Interstate
Highways 81 and 90 (NYS Thruway). Local Amtrak and Greyhound terminals
are located in the Regional Transportation Center. Arriving by air brings
you in to the newly remodeled Hancock International Airport, while the
New York State Barge Canal System provides local connection by boat to
the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River.

The Town of Geddes, hometown of the New York
State Fair, includes the Village of Solvay,
and the hamlets of Westvale and Lakeland.
