12-Day with Pre-Fair RV Parking credentials will be available at Gate 6, starting Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 10:00 am (All RVs must be present to purchase these credentials). ONLY cash, money orders, Visa and MasterCard are accepted as payment for credentials.

2008 Temporary RV Parking Pricing & Details:

PRE-FAIR TEMPORARY RV PARKING
- Cost: $20.00 per day
Valid August 16 - August 20, 2008 only.

12-DAY TEMPORARY RV PARKING (with hook-ups)
- Cost: $310.00
Valid August 21 - September 1, 2008 only. Located in the Green Parking Area. Services include: water and electrical hook-ups, trash removal, pumping of holding tanks (3 times during Fair) and shower facilities. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

12-DAY TEMPORARY RV PARKING (without hook-ups)
- Cost: $225.00
Valid August 21 - September 1, 2008 only. Located in the Green Parking Area. Limited services include: trash removal, pumping of holding tanks (3 times during Fair) and shower facilities. Not included: water or electrical hook-ups (extension cords can not be used to hook-up to electrical poles). Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

LABOR DAY TEMPORARY RV PARKING SPECIAL
- Cost: $140.00
Valid August 29 - September 1, 2008 only. Located in the Green Parking Area. Limited services include: trash removal and shower facilities. Not included: pumping of holding tanks, water or electrical hook-ups (extension cords can not be used to hook-up to electrical poles). Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

PRIMITIVE DAILY TEMPORARY RV PARKING
- Cost: $15.00 per day
Located in the Black Parking Area. Primitive Temporary RV Parking DOES NOT have electric, water or sewer drop (a sewer clean out area and trash pickup are provided). Also the Primitive Temporary RV Parking charge DOES NOT include admission to the Fair. FREE accessible tram service from parking area to Gate 11 provided from 8:00 am to midnight. 2008 Temporary RV Parking Terms & Conditions:

The New York State Fair Director reserves the final and absolute right to interpret the terms and conditions and to settle and determine all matters, questions or differences in regard to, or otherwise arising out of, connected with, or incident to the New York State Fair. The Director further reserves the right to determine unforeseen matters not covered by these rules, and to amend or add to these rules, as in his/her judgment he/she may determine necessary.

You will be informed of any instance(s) of non-compliance with these Temporary RV Parking Terms and Conditions and appropriate action will be taken by NYS Fair Parking Management. The most serious instances of non-compliance will result in revocation of RV parking permits with no refunds and an order to vacate the Fairgrounds immediately.

Admission

Admission is included with Temporary RV credential purchase (with the exception of primitive daily temporary parking in the Black Lot). If you are leaving the Fairgrounds, you must have your hand stamped to re-enter without being charged admission.

Dumping

It is a violation of the New York State Sanitary Code to dump waste, toilet and/or kitchen water on the ground. Dumping stations are available near Gates 9 and 10 for emptying holding tanks.

Electricity

You are only allowed to use the electricity that is provided for your respective location. Utility cords must not be placed where vehicles can cross or park on them. If they are, insurance inspectors will order them disconnected. Hardwiring into Fair electrical panel boxes is prohibited.

Fires

Open fires are prohibited.

Holding Tanks

For health reasons, all RV’s must have their own holding tanks. Hose stations are provided exclusively for filling holding tanks and other temporary service needs.

Inspections

Fair Officials and NYS Health Department conduct regular inspections of camping facilities.

Move-In

Once you have received your Temporary RV credentials, you will be directed to your designated location. You must stay within the confines of your location, including all slide-outs and awnings.

Move-Out

All RV’s must be removed from the Fairgrounds by Wednesday, September 3rd at 4:30 p.m. or they will be towed off the grounds at the owner’s expense.

Pets

Pets or animals of any kind, except those involved in exhibitions, demonstrations or those used as licensed service animals, are not allowed in exhibition areas of the Fairgrounds. Pets are allowed in the Temporary RV Parking area, but must be leashed.

Pump Outs

Your twelve-day temporary parking permit includes three pump outs. RV’s in need of having holding tanks pumped should signal the scavenger truck by displaying one of the three marking tapes provided by the Fair. The marking tape will then be taken by pumping attendant. Dogs must be secured inside the vehicle or personally restrained from the time the scavenger-signaling device is put in place until the scavenger has completed the service call.

Restrooms/Showers

Restroom and shower facility locations:
1) Green RV area, adjacent to Infield Restaurant
2) Adjacent to Gate 10 (Gray parking area)
3) Adjacent to Gate 11 (Gray parking area)

Tents

Tents are prohibited.

Trash

Trash must be kept in plastic trash bags. All areas must be kept free of trash. Trash receptacles and dumpsters are provided.
