Driving Directions
The Empire Expo Center, home of the New York State Fair, is immediately adjacent to Route 690 just West of Syracuse. It is easily accessible from the New York State Thruway (Rt. 90) from the West and East, and from Route 81, North and South. Just follow the signs to the Fairgrounds.
From the West - Buffalo / Rochester Area
Take the New York State Thruway (Rt. 90 East) to Exit 39, then follow Rt. 690 East.
From the East - Albany / Utica Area
Take the New York State Thruway (Rt. 90 West) to Exit 34A, follow Rt. 481 South, then follow Rt. 690 West.
From the North - Watertown Area
Take Interstate 81 South into Syracuse to Exit 22. Follow Bear Street (Rt. 298) to Rt. 690 West.
From the South - Binghamton or Cortland Area
Take Interstate 81 North into Syracuse, then follow Rt. 690 West.

Parking & Temporary RV Parking Information
Parking Facilities
The Empire Expo Center has parking for over 23,000 cars.
Temporary RV Parking
Temporary RV parking is available. Some, but not all sites are equipped with electrical hook-ups. Access to dumping stations
is available during seasonal show program activities year-round while sanitary waste pumping service is available during the NYS Fair only. There are garbage receptacles for solid waste year-round.
Tent Camping on the Fairgrounds is Prohibited.

City of Syracuse
The City of Syracuse is a nexus for the movement of goods and people along the major transportation routes in the Northeast. Located in

major cities in the Northeast and conveniently situated at the intersection of Interstate Highways 81 and 90 (NYS Thruway).
Local Amtrak and Greyhound terminals are located in the Regional Transportation Center. Arriving by air brings you in to the newly
remodeled Hancock International Airport, while the New York State Barge Canal System provides local connection by boat to the
Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River.
