The New York State Fair would like to thank you for your interest in performing with us during the 2013 Fair. Unfortunately, all entertainment slots for our venue have been filled except for those for Pan African Village and our Daily Parade (see below). Please make sure to plan ahead for 2014 and apply early when application opportunities become available later this year.
The Pan-African Village Stage features entertainment that reflects the cultural traditions of African-Americans, Africans, Latinos, Carribeans, South Americas and other peoples of the African Diaspora. A wide variety of Performing Art forms are celebrated, including Dance, Step, Musical Ensembles & Bands, Drumming, Spoken Word, Storytelling, Magicians, and more.
The New York State Fair has developed a tradition over the years of including all types of band performances in its Daily Parade. The parade starts each day at 6:00pm and participants march in front of thousands of Fairgoers for approximately 30-45 minutes over a route about ¾ mile long.
