First Sale Set on Friday for Comedian’s Show at State Fair Grandstand
The Great New York State Fair box office and online ticket outlet open Friday morning to sell tickets for the Tuesday, August 27 show by comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham at the Fair’s Grandstand.
Sales begin at 9 a.m. Friday, May 17, the Commissioner of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Darrel J. Aubertine, announced. Tickets are available at the Fair’s box office, located at the main gate of the Fairgrounds, or through the Fair’s official and only online ticket retailer, Etix.com. Tickets are $45, 35, and 25.
Prices are the same whether tickets are bought online or in person at the box office. A $3.75 service fee is added to all tickets, and an additional fee is charged for the use of a credit card. Most major credit cards are accepted, and advance-sale concert tickets include admission to the Fair.
Parking for box office sales is available in the Brown lot beginning at 5:30 a.m. Lineup can begin at 6 a.m. Tickets for people with special needs and one companion — this includes those who are hearing impaired, use a wheelchair, or have difficulty climbing stairs — will go on sale at the same time as general seating tickets. Parking for people with disabilities who have either a proper handicapped license plate or hanging tag will be available via Gate 2.
