State Agriculture Commissioner Darrel J. Aubertine today announced that the Temporary RV Camping Application is now available for the 2013 Great New York State Fair.
Fairgoers, concessionaires and exhibitors can apply now to stay in their RV or camper during the entire twelve day event. The application can be found on the New York State Fair website, and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis now through Sunday, August 4 at 4:30 p.m. EST.
There are two parking lots on the Fairgrounds designated for RV camping: the Infield and Belle Isle. Camping for the Infield is $450, and the Belle Isle is $490. Single day RV parking is also available in the Black Lot, but will only be available for purchase upon arrival starting on Wednesday, Aug. 21, the day before the Fair begins.
Campers coming for all twelve days will be allowed to park on the Fairgrounds anytime after Aug. 18 at 10:00 a.m. EST, and must vacate by Sept. 4 at 4:30 p.m. EST.
If your application is accepted, you will receive a confirmation in the mail that is to be signed and returned to the Fair.
Space is limited, so be sure to fill out and submit an application as soon as possible.
The 2013 Fair will run from Aug. 22 to Sept. 2.
